Wildlings
Woodland activities for families

Wildings is a weekly group for children of all ages and their grown-ups. Welcoming, friendly and like-minded families meet by the pollinator garden and follow the path through the meadow and past the bell tent into the beautiful woods. A range of engaging and imaginative activities are laid out between the trees to entice everyone to play. Equally, there is freedom given to explore the natural wonders of the woods and all they have to offer.

While we do come together for music and storytime as well as around the campfire for a snack and a chance to chat, for the majority of the morning we encourage the children to lead their own play. This child-led learning helps the children to follow their natural curiosities and to flourish.

Eco citizens and school groups

In cooperation with local schools, we also run eco citizen days, where school classes get to spend a day on our site learning about conservation and having a go at woodcrafts or forest art.

If you are interested in your school participating in one of these outdoor days, please get in touch with Sara at sara@ledbythewild.co.uk
